BHUBANESWAR:Today, in the local Khandagiri Pantika, in collaboration with the Air Kharavela Mahotsav Committee and leading cultural institution Anchintanam, the second evening of the International Air Kharavela Mahotsav 2026 was inaugurated on the occasion of Khandagiri Kumbh Mela by the Chairman of the Festival Committee and Ekamra MLA  Babu Singh and the Chief Guest of Odisha Assembly Chief whip Saroj Padhi.

On this occasion, the Chairman of the Festival Committee and Ekamra MLA Shriyut Babu Singh said that the International Air Kharavela Mahotsav will conclude tomorrow. He said that its main objective is to strengthen the cultural map of Utkal by connecting the northern generation with the glorious history of Odisha.

Our aim is to fight against obscene traditions and keep Odisha culture intact. Many famous artists from home and abroad have joined this. Today, Padma Shri Sachirautaraya’s Chota Moro Gaon Ti dance gave the urban people a rural life experience, Patriotic Traditional from Nupar Dance Academy, Gittipuya dance from Aradhana Dance Academy, Mini at Gowati from Moinul Hakkakwe, Mayur Bhanjara folk dance, Palli dance etc. were performed by various institutions, said Shri Singh.

International dance researcher and founder of Anuchintanam, Dr. Srinivas Prasad, managed the stage. Senior BJP leaders Golak Mahapatra, Ramachandra Ransingh, Aparthi Sundaraya, Jitu Patnaik, Suren Kakhral Singh, Sumitra Acharya, Kedar Ransingh, Bhagwan Sahu, Manoj Patra, Ambika Maharana, Purna Chandra Sahu were prominently present in today’s program.
