BHUBANESWAR: This year, as part of observance of Vigilance Awareness Week-2024,
school students conducted a state wide campaign in association with Odisha Vigilance
whereby they met senior Govt. functionaries in all districts and urged them to take
strong action against corruption to protect the future of the next generation.
Today, the school students of Unit 6 High School, Bhubaneswar called on the HCM and thanked him for prioritizing action against corruption. They tied an integrity band (with a caption “Satyanishta Ru Samruddhi” inscribed on it) on Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and handed over an integrity card with a caption “SAY NO TO CORRUPTION TO PROTECT FUTURE GENERATION”.
Earlier, the students had also tied such bands on Chief Secretary Sri Manoj Ahuja, DGP Shri Y.B. Khurania and other senior bureaucrats and Police officers of Odisha and requested them to continue leading the fight against corruption.
Similarly, schools students across the state of Odisha have tied bands and presented Integrity Cards to other Officers in the districts urging them to strongly act against corruption for a better future of the next generation.
The activity was a part of the outreach by students to participate in the cause of awareness generation against the menace of corruption in public life
