NUAPADA:Today at the Nuapada district office, former BJD block president of Sinapali and current Sarpanch of Kharsel Panchayat Birendra Khamari and Sarpanch of Kendumunda Panchayat Madan Dandasena along with their supporters left BJD and joined BJP, inspired by the good governance of the Modi-Mohan government.
MPs Malvika Devi, Pratap Sarangi, former MP Ark Keshari Deo, BJP state general secretary Biranchi Narayan Tripathi, two sarpanches and their supporters joined the party wearing party hats and northerners.
Sarpanches are the leaders of the people of the panchayat. Stating that their joining the party will increase the strength of the BJP, the BJP leadership present at the merger ceremony expressed hope that both of them will be the charioteers of the victory of Nuapada MLA candidate Jai Dholakia.
