BHUBANESWAR: On 28.02.2025 learned Addl. Special Judge , Vigilance , Bhubaneswar (Shree Himanshu Sekhar Mallick) has pronounced the Judgement of CONVICTION in TR Case No-5/2010, arising out of Bhubaneswar Vigilance P. S Case No 14/24.04.2006 and the accused person namely Sarat Kumar Singhsamant (Field officer , Khordha, CADA Bank) is found guilty for commission of offences under section 13(1)(d)r/w section 13(2) of P.C Act and he is convicted thereunder.
Convict Sarat Kumar Singhsamant has been sentenced to undergo R.I for three years for offence u/s-468 of IPC and to pay of fine Rs. 20,000/- in default RI for one year and RI for two years for offence u/s-471 of IPC and to pay fine Rs.10,000/- in default RI for six months and RI for three years for offence u/s-409 of IPC and to pay fine Rs.20,000/- in default RI for one year and RI for two years for committing offence u/s 13(1)(d)r/w Sec. 13(2) of PC Act and to pay a fine Rs.10,000/- in default RI for six months. All the Sentences shall run concurrently.
The Case was investigated by L.D.Mohapatra DSP Vigilance, Puri Unit, Bhubaneswar Division and Ashok Kumar Mohanty Inspector Vigilance,Khordha Squad , Bhubaneswar Division. Informant of the case was D.D.Seth DSP, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar Division. Prosecution has been conducted by Kamadev Tripathy,Spl. P P, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
