Sanjay Kothari Sworn-in as India’s new Central Vigilance Commissioner

NEW DELHI:  Sanjay Kothari was sworn in as the Central Vigilance Commissioner. At a ceremony held on Saturday  at Rashtrapati Bhavan,  Kothari was sworn in as the Central Vigilance Commissioner. He made and subscribed the oath of his office before the President Ramnath Kovinda.Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi were among those present.

He had worked as District Magistrate, Gurgaon; Home Secretary, Union Territory of Chandigarh and Chairman, Managing Director, Director and Secretary, Haryana Tourism. … In the Government of India, he has worked in the Ministry of Tourism, Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances and Pension Departments.
