PURI: On the occasion of Basant Panchami, international sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo has made a sand art of Goddess Saraswati on the golden sea beach of Puri.
On the occasion of Basanta Panchami (Saraswati Puja), it is the prayer of international sand artist Manas Kumar Sahoo to the goddess to protect the world from Carona virus.
At the Manas Sahoo Sand Art Park, situated at the golden sea beach of Puri near Light House, the artist has made the art of Veena Dharini , the goddess of learning Mata Saraswati along with the arts of Veena, Likhani, prose, poetries and the literatures of various types. Also the artist prays the goddess to protect the earth from the deadly Corona virus which is grasping the world slowly.
This sand art is of 15 feet in width and some 15 tonnes of sand is used to make it. It took Mr. Sahoo and the students of his institute nearly seven hours to finish. In this sand art he has given the message of “Stay informed & Stop Coronavirus” “Save India from Coronavirus” “Happy Vasant Panchami”
