Bhubaneswar, 09/01: The Bharatiya Janata Party has suffered an irreparable loss with the demise of senior leader and former MLA from Kore constituency Smt. Sanchita Mohanty. Her dedication and commitment to the party will be inspiring. She made many sacrifices and penances for the party. She strengthened the organization by doing a lot of work in adverse circumstances.
She served as an MLA in the Kore Assembly from 2004 to 2009. She was not only a skilled politician but also a hardworking leader in public service and organizational work. She earned a special place in the hearts of the common people by working tirelessly for the development and welfare of the Kore region. In addition, Sanchita Apa did a lot of work for the protection of Jagannath culture and Odia identity. Although she had many rivals, she had no political enemies. She was a very loving, sweet-spoken, well-organized, selfless, religious and friendly woman, said popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi at the tribute meeting of the late Mohanty held at the state office today.
On this occasion, State President Shri Manmohan Samal said that Late Sanchita Apa was a decisive and dedicated politician. He could maintain active and lively relations with the people. He did not leave the work he started until it was completed. His social and political relations were very strong.
He set an example for others by winning a record number of seats in the Kore Assembly. Sanchita Apa was one of the few who did selfless work in the beginning of the party. Through his humility and love, he made everyone his own. He strengthened the Bharatiya Janata Party with the power of continuous meditation. He became the center of people’s trust. State President Shri Samal challenged the workers to work inspired by his ideology.
On this occasion, a silent prayer was offered for the eternal peace of Sanchita Appa. Deputy Chief Minister Kanakbardhan Singh Deo, MP Ravi Narayan Behera, Rajya Sabha MP Sujit Kumar, MLA Babu Singh, former State President Sameer Mohanty, former Minister Arvind Tachali, State Vice President Ashok Mishra, State General Secretary (Organization) Manas Kumar Mohanty, State Secretary Saroj Kar, senior leaders Sudipta Ray, Mahesh Mohanty, former Jajpur District President Gautam Ray, Bhubaneswar District President Niranjan Mishra, late Sanchita Mohanty’s son and many other senior leaders and activists were present in this tribute meeting and paid their respects. State General Secretary Shri Biranchi Narayan Tripathi organized the tribute meeting and expressed his gratitude.
