BHUBANESWAR: The BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday appointed eight senior leaders as election coordinator for Nimapada assembly constituency after sitting MLA Samir Dash joined BJP. Voting for Nimapara MLA seat, which comes under Jagatsinghpur Lok Sabha seat, will be held on June 1 in fourth phase.
They were Rajya Sabha MP Subhasish Khuntia, Rudra Pratap Maharathy, Umakant Samantray, Rama Ranjan Baliasingh, Sangram Paikray, Kamal Kumar Patra, Sunil Kumar Mohanty and Dibakar Patra.
Sources said, Five to six senior leaders are already camping in Nimapada Odisha
