PURI/BHUBANESWAR: RSS Swayamsevaks, known for their nationalism, social work and patriotism once again drew attention of tens of thousands of devotees during the annual World famous Rath Yatra of Shree Lord Jagannath and his siblings, Shree Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra in Odisha’s pilgrimage city of Puri.
A Medical Ambulance trapped in a huge crowd on Grand Road during Rath Yatra was successfully escorted to hospital after RSS Swayamsevaks swung into action and formed a human chain to escort the vehicle to come out of crowd with the injured devotees.
RSS Swayamsevaks formed Human chain for making Ambulance Corridor and finally the vehicle successfully came out of crowd.
Around 2,000 RSS Swayamsevaks have been engaged for social and voluntary works during Rath Yatra in Puri and the Sangha workers also running several service works in Puri.
