BHUBANESWAR: The Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh was held in Bengaluru for three days from March 21 to 23. As per the resolution adopted here, all should stand in solidarity with victimised Hindus of Bangladesh as said by Pranta Sangha Chalak Sameer Kumar Mohanty in Friday’s press conference.
The press conference was attended by Sumant Kumar Panda, Prant Prachar Pramukh, and Manindra Sundar Das, Sah Prant Prachar Pramuk. of Odisha.
Shri Mohanty said that in this meeting, a condolence proposal was adopted for the departed dignitaries of various states of Bharat including Odisha. Among them are Cine artist Uttam Mohanty, politician Dr. Debendra Pradhan and senior bureaucrat & renowned Poet Ramakant Rath. As reported in Pratinidhi Sabha, 1 lakh 15 thousand 276 nos of Sakha ( daily & weekly) are operating across the country, out of which 2843 are in Odisha. Along with the adoption of resolution in this meeting , a statement was also issued .
The resolution is that the Sangh has expressed deep concern over the atrocities committed by Islamic fundamentalists against Hindus and other minorities after the change of power in Bangladesh. The attack on Durga Mandap by fundamentalists, forced conversions and undescribable atrocities against women are very horrifying. The Sangh stands firmly in support of the victims of Bangladesh. Pratinidhi Sabha has called on the people of the country to be vigilant about the role of Pakistan and Deep State who are creating an anti-India atmosphere there. In addition, the Sangh has advised to keep a vigilant eye on their activities in other countries also. The Hindu community in Bangladesh has protested against this atrocities through democratic means and there have been protests in other countries of the world as well. The Pratinidhi Sabha requests the Government of India to keep contact with the Government of Bangladesh and continue dialogue to ensure the safety and dignity of the Hindu community there. It has also called for the support of other international organizations of the world.
On the occasion of the 100 years journey of Sangha it has won the unwavering trust and faith of the society through the Sanskar of its daily Sakha, which is a remarkable achievement. During this time, the Swayamsevaks of the Sangh have made efforts to work with everyone with affection and love, rising above insults and hate. This has the blessings of all the venerable saints, religious leaders and the noble persons of the society. Due to its ancient culture and rich traditions, Bharat has a vast store house of experience to build a harmonious world. Therefore, our duty is to create an ideal society, which avoids all kinds of discrimination and to build a harmonious society, an eco-friendly lifestyle with a civic conscious society.The Swayamsevaks of Sangh will be closely involved in this work. In the recent past the Grand success of Mahakumbha at Prayagraj is a burning example.
Apart from this, Mananiya Sara Karyabah Dattatreya Hoswale delivered a Statement regarding the 500th birth anniversary of Maharani Abbakka of Karnataka. Maharani Abbakka ruled the Ullal region of South Kannada district for many years. In alliance with King Jamarin of Kerala, she created a great military power and defeated the Portuguese soldiers repeatedly. For this, she was given the title of Abhayarani. She developed many Shiva temples and pilgrimage sites. Many traditional dances and music are practaised in Karnataka in her honor. The Central Government issued a postage stamp in her honor during 2003 and also named a sea vessel in her name in 2009. On this occasion Sangh pays tribute to her.1443 delegates from all over Bharat participated in this Pratinidhi Sabha, including 50 from Odisha .
