CUTTACK:The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has been working for a century with the goal of building a prosperous nation, despite many setbacks, said Vidyut Mukherjee, senior campaigner of the RSS and head of the eastern region of the RSS’s relations department.
Addressing a seminar titled ‘RSS – 100 Years’ held at the conference hall of the local Grand Residency on Saturday morning, Shri Mukherjee said that the Indian family system is unique in the world and we have to maintain this system.
The programme was jointly presided over by Dr. Anang Mohan Dwivedi, former president of Rotary Club of Cuttack Millennium, and Ashok Bihari Mohapatra, former district president of Rotary District 3262, and the Sangh’s former regional president Sameer Kumar Mohanty was the chief guest. After Dr. Narayan Mohanty delivered the welcome speech, Advocate Sarveshwar Behera gave the introductory remarks. The chief guest, Shri Mohanty, called upon us to do our duty towards the nation by renouncing work and anger.
The program was attended by many Rotarians and intellectuals, including former Rotary District Nijerpal Debashis Mishra and Shantanu Kumar Pani. Finally, the Cuttack Department of the association and the association chairman Kishore Kumar Mohanty proposed the vote of thanks.
