BHUBANESWAR:    Sarkaryavah of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS ) Dattatreya Hosabale on Friday in a statement said that the Sangha  expresses deep concern over the incidents of violence against Hindus, Buddhists and other minority communities in Bangladesh during the movement for change of power in the last few days.

The senior RSS leader alleged the atrocities such as targeted killing of Hindus and other minority community people, looting, arson, heinous crimes against women and attacks on places of worship like temples in Bangladesh are intolerable and the RSS strongly condemns them.

The interim government of Bangladesh is expected to immediately and strictly stop such incidents and make proper arrangements to protect the life, property and honour of the victims, he said.

In this critical time, the world community and all the political parties of India are also requested to stand united with the Hindu, Buddhist and other communities who are victims of persecution in Bangladesh, he said.

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh urges the Indian government, which is trying to play an appropriate role as a friendly neighboring country in the situation of Bangladesh, to make every possible effort to ensure the safety of Hindus, Buddhists, etc. people in Bangladesh, he added.
