BHUBANESWAR: BJP on Thursday alleged that Rs 5 Crore seized from Jajpur based contractor Nihar Mandhata at Surya Nagar of Bhubaneswar, originally belongs to BJD MP candidate for Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat , Babby Das alias Pranab Prakash Das.
Rs 5 Crore was about to move Korei area of Jajpur where, Babby Das mother was BJD MLA candidate, BJP leader Anil Biswal said.
Biswal said, BJD using huge money to win votes and cited that seizure of Rs 15 Lakh in cash from the vehicle of a woman leader of BJD on the four streets of Boudh.
He said Odisha seized 15kg gold from West Bengal border, which the ruling party was bringing to distribute to voters.
