BHUBANESWAR: A fundraising drive in Odisha to collect Samarpan Nidhi (donations) for construction of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodha has ended with mopping up of more than Rs 42 crore.
The drive was carried out by the Shreeram Janmabhhomi Mandir Nidhi Samarpan Samiti, Odisha. Like other parts of the country, huge enthusiasm was marked among the people in the during the fund raising drive, said Samiti secretary Gopal Prasad Mahapatra at a Press conference here on Sunday.The Samiti has thanked the people of the State for their contributions.
Among others, Samiti’s advisor Swami Jiban Mukutanandapuri, vice-president Harischandra Parida and assistant secretary Mahesh Sahu were present at the Press meet.
