BHUBANESWAR: Thousands of BJP workers led by State President Samir Mohanty and Bhubaneswar Lok Sabha MP, Aparajita Sarangi on Monday given a rousing welcome to BJP’s Odisha In charge Sunil Bansal, who arrived here on a 2-days long visit to State.
It was Bansal’s first visit to the State after he was assigned the party’s state In-Charge of Odisha, West Bengal and Telangana on August 10. Bansal played a vital role in BJP’s electoral success in Uttar Pradesh. Odisha is one of the focused states of the BJP central leadership eying the 2024 elections.
During his two-day visit, Bansal is expected to hold an important meeting with the state BJP office bearers, said party sources.
Bansal, who is also BJP’s national general secretary, is scheduled to hold discussions with State BJP president Samir Mohanty, other office bearers and senior leaders during his two-day visit to the State. He will also meet party’s MPs and MLAs separately to discuss the roadmap for the 2024 general elections.
