SAMBALPUR: The Rengali Vikash Parishad led by its Chief and ruling BJD’s State Council member, Er Dilip Kumar Duria, has stepped up awareness campaign on COVID-19 and distributed facemasks , essential food items and medical kits among the local people.
Parishad Chairman Er Duria said, under the Rengali Assembly segment, Parishad have distributed food items, facemasks, others essentials commodities at Panchayats like Salada, Rengali, Katarabhaga, Kinaloi.
“We have been inspired by the call of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and we have been extending all possible help to the needy and downtrodden during the COVID-19 crisis and lockdown,” Er Duria said. Parishad members like Sidhartha Mishra, Manoranjan Senapati, Ratu Kharsel and others were among those present and distributed the essentials.
Sources said, Er Duria has been active in entire Sambalpur and Jharsuguda regions since the outbreak of COVID-19 and lockdown put in place and making people aware of the situation and extending all possible help to the people of Rengali Assembly segment in particular and Sambalpur and Jharsuguda region in general.
