PURI/BHUBANESWAR: Even though, the COVID-19 onslaught on decline in Odisha and the State is emerging out of the humanitarian crisis, but the Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration has been continuing its sanitization drive in the Temple premise and outside keeping larger interest of lakhs of devotees visiting the 12th century old shrine.
In view of COVID-19 pandemic, as per the protocol, necessary arrangements are made by SJTA in Puri every Sunday, for the complete sanitization of JagannathaDhaam.
Such regular activities have also resulted in round with vaccinated devotees making beelines to Puri without any COVID-19 fear in mind with all precautionary measures were put in place due to pro-active role of SJTA Chief Administrator Dr Krishan Kumar and Puri Collector Samartha Verma.
Since the outbreak of COVID-19 in both 1st and 2nd phases, all the Covid SOPs were being strictly followed by the SJTA.
