BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has expressed his happiness and deep gratitude to the Odias all over the world for paying respect to COVID-19 warriors. Patnaik said the moment was unprecedented when innumerable Odias came out in large numbers to pay their respect to the COVID warriors for their selfless service to the nation.
CM Patnaik said the entire Odia race has stood firmly behind COVID-19 warriors to fight the dreaded coronavirus and added that such a gesture has encouraged them to defeat the virus. Patnaik said he is indebted to those who have recited Bande Utkal Janani to pay respect to the COVID warriors on Saturday.
The Chief Minister also said leaders cutting across party lines have extended their wholehearted support to the programme which is vital to the society. This has enhanced the pride of Odias across the globe, Patnaik added.

Naveen Patnaik appealed to all who Odias and all those who love the land of Odisha to sing this together at 5.30pm today, 30th May 2020 remembering the sacrifices and dedication of the Corona Warriors.
