BERHAMPUR/BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has launched it after the restoration and beautification of Ramlingeswar area for the development of tourism in Berhampur and the beauty of the city. The Chief Minister said that the building and parks built at a cost of ₹ 12 crore have taken a special place in the tourism map. The 4-acre reservoir was unused for a period of six years. It is surrounded by beautiful gardens, making it more attractive.
The state government’s effort is continuing to build Berhampur as an ideal city. In this direction, the Chief Minister has called for everyone’s cooperation and to keep the holy Ramlingeswar area clean and to protect its beautiful environment. “Berhampur has always been of special importance to me. I think I have always kept a close eye on the development of Berhampur and Ganjam,” Patnaik said inaugurating the restoration and beautification of Ramlingeshwar Reservoir in the silk city.
The Chief Minister highlighted the history of the Ramlingeshwar Reservoir and said, “What was the condition of the reservoir in the last few years and where it has come from now.” “This is Transformation. The Ramlingeshwar Reservoir and Park has earned a special place on the tourism map of Ganjam today. This has been made possible today, thanks to the unwavering support and cooperation of the people of Berhampur,” he said.
