BHUBANESWAR: The SRIRAM BIJAYA DASHAMI festival has been observed from March 6, 2025, to March 8, 2025, at Dhamnagar NAC. On this occasion, the Ramanavami Committee, Dhamnagar, has decided to start their NAGAR SANKIRTAN on April 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM.
Nagar Sankirtan Details:-
The Nagar Sankirtan will feature 14 medhas from Dhamnagar NAC and adjacent areas, including:
- Talapada
- Kalyani
- Radhaballavpur
- Kothar
- Sahidnagar
- Nadigan
- Jayanagar
- Kankara
- Shyampur
- Dobal
- Korigan
- Dakshinabad
- On Santi Prajaprataya Dhamnagar
- Mantei Bati
Over 30,000 Sriram devotees are expected to participate in the Nagar Sankirtan.
Police Arrangements:-
DIG,ER,DM,Bhadrak and SP,Bhadrak are present in Dhamnagar To maintain law and order and ensure a smooth passage of the Nagar Sankirtan, the following police arrangements have been made:
– 15 platoons of OSAP/APR
– One company each of RAF, CRPF, and BSF
– Striking force: 1 platoon APR/OSAP/BSF under the charge of the officer-in-charge, Dhamnagar PS
– Executive Magistrate: 2 executive magistrates have been deputed to remain in charge of the force during the procession
– Fire Tender: A fire tender team has been deployed to avoid any untoward situation
– Medical Unit: A medical team with ORS and other necessary articles is being provided to maintain a hygienic environment and prevent any untoward situation due to heat waves
