Raising Odia Asmita and Swabhiman in Biju Babu’s Karmabhoomi, Baijayant Panda Files Nomination Papers for Kendrapara Parliamentary Seat for the 4th consecutive Times

KENDRAPARA/BHUBANESWAR:  Registering a unique record in Kendrapara Parliamentary seat’s political history, BJP National Vice President and Party’s MP candidate, Baijayant Jay Panda became first politician from any mainstream Political Party, who consecutively fought 4 consecutive Lok Sabha Polls from Kendrapara seat in Odisha, once was Karmabhoomi of legendary Biju Patnaik and stronghold of anti-Congress politics since long.

On occasion of Akshya Tritaya on Friday, the BJP MP candidate,  Jay Panda was for the fourth times in a row, filed his Nomination papers for Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat . The BJP Election In charge for Uttar Pradesh, Party Pravari for Assam , Delhi and Mahila Morcha, Jay Panda had earlier represented Kendrapara in Lok Sabha between 2009 and 2019 before he severed two terms in Rajya Sabha from 2000 to 2009. While he had lost Lok Sabha polls in 2019 Polls and fighting for the  Kendrapara Parliamentary seat for the 4^th times in row.

In 2009, he had defeated Congress candidate Ranjib Biswal and in 2014, he had outplayed Dharnidhar Nayak of INC while Panda fought on BJP ticket in 2019 and lost to Actor Anubhav Mohanty , who is  now with BJP.

Voting will be conducted in Kendrapara Lok Sabha seats and MLA seats under it, on June 1 while counting of votes will be on June 4. Baijayant Panda’s main fight will be  with BJD’s Anshuman Mohanty and Congress’s Sidhart Swaroop Das. ‘Since Panda , a former 4^th times MP and remarkable influence on BJP central leadership, having massive support base and popularity in the entire district, Saffron Party is all set to open its account in Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat this time, political experts said.

Earlier, Panda offered prayers at Shree Ram Temple at Tinimuhani Square and he along with Party’s MLA candidates took out a procession to the office of District Collector, where he filed his Nomination Papers. A large number of BJP workers from all 7 Assembly segment of Kendrapara Lok Sabha seat joined the procession .
