BHUBANESWAR: Amid an enthusiastic crowd, mostly of them, BJP supporters, the NDA’s president candidate and Odisha’s tribal, Draupadi Murmu on Thursday left for New Delhi to file her nomination papers.
Murmu left for the airport this morning for Delhi where she will be filing her nomination for the Presidential election scheduled to be held on July 18, BJP sources said.
Among others, Party State President Samir Mohanty, Bhubaneswar MP and National Spokesperson, Aparajita Sarangi, Golak Mohapatra and others given a grand see off to Murmu, who mostly likely to occupy the Rashtrapati Bhawan.
