BHUBANESWAR/KENDRAPARA: Since senior IPS officer Ashish Singh took the baton of Excise Commissioner Charge, illegal liquor traders have been facing tough time , with STF Chief JN Pankaj, taking additional charge of Central Police Range, pro-active Kendrapara Police now started running after these backdoor traders, those taking lockdown as a good advantage to sale liquor both country made and foreign at a higher price.
With SP Sandeep Madkar taking the lead, consecutive raids by Kendrapara Police at Rajkanik and Rajnagar blocks, have exposed the huge transection of illegal liquor trade in these twin blocks of the district under Central range.
“Rajkanika PS seized huge quantity of FL & arrested three accused in this connection. Our drive against illegal sale continues. @odisha_police @DGPOdisha,” Kendrapada Police tweeted @spkendrapara.“Rajnagar PS seized huge quantities of FL & arrested 4 accused in this regard. @DGPOdisha@odisha_police,” it said in another tweet on Tuesday.
