PURI/BHUBANESWAR: Following the completion of visit of Puri Seer Jagadguru Swami Nischalananda Saraswati and Chera Pahara on Rath by first servitor, Puri King Gajapati Maharaj Dibya Singh Deb ,( Sweeping Rituals) at around 2.45 pm, the pulling of Chariots began at 3 pm , 1 hour before the scheduled time of 4pm.
Tens of thousands of devotees from across the globe have gathered at this pilgrimage city of Puri in eastern Indian State of Odisha to pull the gigantic Chariots.
Devotees are pulling the chariot of Shree Lord Balabhadra ‘s Taladwaja while Devi Subhadra’s Darpadalan next and pulling of Nandighose of Shree Lord Jagannatha is yet to begin.
