PSR Cinema Owner Rajesh Sharma arrested for Cheating

Case Reference- Berhampur Town PS No.-290 Dt. 20.07.2025 U/S 420/ 406/403/ 471/ 426/34 IPC.

Informant- Mr. Sarju Ramesh Chandra Shah of Mumbai, Maharashtra State, Proprieter Of Real Films, Mumbai.

Accused Details -Rajesh Sharma (45) S/O-Late Santosh Sharma of Hotel Deluxe lane, Mahulpali, PS-Plant site, Rourkela, Dist- Sundargarh, Odisha.  Prop. of Krisha Holdings, Deluxe lane, Mahulpali, PS-Plant site, Rourkela.

Seizure Articles- Financial Documents and Mobile phone of the Accused.

Brief of the case- Complainant Mr. Sarju Ramesh Chandra Shah is the proprietor of REAL FILMS of Mumbai who deals with Sound Systems and installs Sounds systems in Cinema Halls.

In the year 2022, as per agreement with Rajesh Sharma (45) the company of Complainant installed 3D sound system in 03 Screens of PSR Cineplex at Old Bus Stand, Berhampur at cost of Rs 39 Lakhs. But later on the Rajesh Sharma did not make any payment to the Complainant and all the Cheques issued by the him to Complainant were dishonored due to want of funds.

Rajesh Sharma had also blocked the payment of the  Complt. Getting no way out the Complainant reported the matter at Berhampur Town PS and the instant FIR was registered and investigated in to and the accused is arrested and forwarded to court today.

He is also involved in another 07 Cheque bounce cases.
