BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was on Wednesday asked senior officials to take steps to resume work for all developmental projects sanctioned for State Capital of Bhubaneswar and pilgrimage city of Puri.
Chief Minister Patnaik chaired a high level meeting in which, Chief Secretray Asit Tripathy and other senior officials were among those present.
CM Patnaik said, “We’ve had a more than 2-month break in view of coronavirus outbreak where all work was stopped. We must ease restrictions now & try and begin developmental works in Puri & Bhubaneswar by day after tomorrow.”He also asked to follow social distancing guidelines during the work.
The Patnaik Government had initiated the project around the two temples for beautification of the shrines and attracting more footfalls.
