BHUBANESWAR:Describing himself as a Pradhan Sevak, the renowned Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has successfully implemented many welfare schemes for the Dalits, tribals, farmers and women along with the upliftment of the neglected and weak sections of the society. He has increased the prestige and respect of India in the world. Modi has made India an economic and military superpower and strengthened the country’s position in the international arena.
As a result, India has gained special respect all over the world. The Modi gesture has been seen by the entire country including Odisha. Today is the 75th birthday of such a great man. Taking Modi’s service attitude as a path, the BJP is celebrating “Seva Diwas” across the country and from today till the Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti on October 2 as ‘Seva Pasha’. In this regard, the State BJP will continue its service work in various places in Odisha for the next 15 days. In addition to the service aspect, today, on the first day of “Service Day”, the ‘Tree for Mother’ campaign has been launched at the state office. In this context, more than 75 lakh trees have been planted across the state. Similarly, a photo exhibition on the life of Prime Minister Modi, a blood donation camp by the Youth Front, a drawing competition for a developed India and a Swachh Bharat campaign have been organized.
On this occasion, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan was held at the City Bus Stand near Master Canteen in Bhubaneswar this morning. Honorable Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, State President Shri Manmohan Samal, State In-charge Shri Vijayapal Singh Tomar, Former State President Sameer Mohanty, MLA Babu Singh, State Coordinator of Service Dr. Yatin Mohanty, Swachh Bharat Abhiyan State Coordinator Mahesh Mohanty, State Spokesperson Dilip Mallick, OBC Morcha State President Surtha Biswal, Bhubaneswar District President Niranjan Mishra, State Executive Member Jagannath Pradhan and other party officials and workers were present.
Later, hundreds of workers voluntarily donated blood at the blood donation camp held at the state office. Honorable Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, State President Shri Manmohan Samal, State In-charge Shri Vijayapal Singh Tomar, Former State President Sameer Mohanty, MLA Babu Singh, State Coordinator of Seva Party Dr. Yatin Mohanty, District President Niranjan Mishra, Yuva Morcha State President Abhilash Panda, Yuva Morcha District President Swayamsevak Roy and other party officials and workers were present and encouraged the blood donors.
The tree plantation program under the ‘Tree for Mother’ campaign held at Janpath was attended by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, State President Shri Manmohan Samal, State In-charge Shri Vijayapal Singh Tomar, Former State President Sameer Mohanty, MLA Babu Singh.
Later, the exhibition on the life of Prime Minister Modiji was inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi at the State Office premises. On this occasion, State President Shri Manmohan Samal, State In-charge Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, MLA Babu Singh, State Coordinator of the Service Department Dr. Yatin Mohanty were prominently present.
BJP workers from every corner of the state wished the Prime Minister a happy birthday and wished him a long and healthy life by lighting lamps in various temples and shrines. In Bhubaneswar, workers lit lamps at the Ram Mandir and offered prayers and wished Prime Minister Modi a long and healthy life. State President Manmohan Samal, State Vice President Biranchi Narayan Tripathi, State General Secretary Sarada Satpathi and all the state and district leaders and workers were present on the occasion.
On the occasion of Seva Pari, blood donation camps and free health camps will be organized in all districts and from 19 to 27 in all mandals. With emphasis on the environment, a “Tree for Mother” campaign will be launched from 17 to October 2. On this occasion, the party and various fronts and cells will clean all temples, religious places, water bodies, pools and parks etc. at the district and mandal levels. An exhibition based on the biography of Prime Minister Modi will be held at the district level.
A developed India drawing competition and a selected book distribution program on the Prime Minister will be organized. On 19 and 20 September, a district-level Prabuddha Barga Bhasam, a documentary film on the biography of the Prime Minister will be screened. On 20 September, a cleanliness campaign will be organized on the Sea Coast Day. On 21 September, a state and district-level Modi Vikas Marathon program will be organized. On 25 September, the birth anniversary of BJP’s thought leader Pandit Deendayal Upadhyayji will be celebrated at the state, district and booth levels. Divyang and other prominent personalities will be honored.
On October 2, on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti, a cleanliness campaign will be organized at the Mandal level near the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri and floral tributes will be offered. On this day, awareness will be created to every family to buy Khadi clothes and village industry will be promoted. To promote sports, a month-long MP sports competition will be held from September 25 to October 25, said Dr. Yatin Mohanty, State Coordinator and State General Secretary of the Service Party.
