PURI/BHUBANESWAR: The Shree Jagannatha Temple Administration, Chief Administrator Krishan Kumar on Monday informed general public will not be allowed to pay obeisance to the deities at the temple from 4 PM to 6 PM on February 19.as President Ramnath Kovind is expected to offer prayers at Shree Mandir in between 5pm to 5.30pm.
The decision has been taken at the Chhatisa Nijog meeting where D Kumar was present to discuss the preparations for President Kovind’s visit on February 19.
Earlier in March, 2021, President Kovind and India’s First Lady Sabita Kovind had paid a visit to Shree Mandir and was very impressed by the ongoing developmental work, President Kovind had also donated Rs 1 Lakh for SJTA.
