NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: The President Droupadi Murmu has condoled the death of Abasara Beuria, former Ambassador and Diplomat , who passed away at 80.
‘Saddened to learn about the demise of Shri Abasar Beuria, former diplomat, author and Chairman, Institute of Odia Studies & Research. He played a key role in translation of engineering books in Odia which I released during my visit to Odisha. Condolences to his family & friends,’ the President said in a tweet.
The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the demise of former Indian diplomat Shri Abasar Beuria.

Beuria was also a senior member of INTACH. He is survived by his wife and daughter.He had served in Japan, former Soviet Union, USA, UAE, Myanmar, Sri Lanka and Madagascar.
