NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: The President, Droupadi Murmu on Monday condoled the death of BJP MLA and Party’s Deputy leader in Odisha House, BC Sethi, who passed away here.
‘Saddened by the demise of Shri Bishnu Charan Sethi, a prominent public figure in Odisha. A prolific writer, Shri Sethi was an eminent legislator. His demise leaves a void which is difficult to fill. My heartfelt condolences to his family, well-wishers and followers,’ President Droupadi Murmu said in a tweet.
BJP’s Dhamnagar MLA and Deputy Leader in Odisha Assembly, Bishnu Sethi passed away after a pro-long illness. He was 61. He breathed his last while being treated at the ICU of AIIMS here. Sethi was elected to the Assembly from Dhamnagar constituency in 2019 and Chandbali constituency in 2000.
