PURI/BHUBANESWAR: Preparations are in full swing for Lord Jagannath’s Bahuda Jatra-Suna Besha. Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has urged the officials to conduct Bahuda Jatra, Suna Besha, Adharapana, and Niladri Bije with discipline.The Chief Minister was apprised of the arrangement for the conduct of Bahuda Yatra and Sunabesha by Law Minister Pratap Jena, Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy, DGP Abhay, and SJTA chief administrator Dr Kishan Kumar.
CM Patnaik said the whole world is watching us and you must put in best efforts to show the world despite the health emergency of coronavirus.He thanked the officials and the administration as well as servitors of the Shree Jagannath Temple for smoothly conducting the world famous Rath Yatra. Patnaik asked the officials to coordinate with the Information & Public Relations Department to ensure live telecast of Bahuda Jatra, Suna Besha, Adharapana, and Niladri Bije.
The chief minister advised the officials to step up efforts for putting the dreaded coronavirus at bay and take measures to scale-up testing. He advised the officials to rope in volunteers to do community mobilization for awareness among people on coronavirus.
