BHUBANESWAR: With prayers pouring in for his speedy recovery, Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was on Wednesday morning gone very emotional and bowed himself down before Lord Sri Ram on the occasion of the inauguration ceremony of a gagantic Temple in Ayodhya by Prime Minister Narendra Modi later in the day.
In a social media post, the Union Minister said the time of the inauguration of the construction of Shriram temple is near now. “On this auspicious occasion, I bow down to all the Ram devotees who have given their support indirectly in the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi pilgrimage movement for the past many decades and best wishes to all the countrymen,” Pradhan said, who is undergoing treatment at Medanta Hospital after tested COVID-19 positive.
“Vikram Samvat 2077, this auspicious day of August 5 is not only the day of construction of the grand temple of Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram, it is also the day of the beginning of a new era.
This new era is the era of building self-reliant India. It is an era of social harmony, harmony and support of all, development of all and trust of all,” he said.
“This grand temple of Lord Ram will become a new center of the country’s civilization, cultural heritage, reputation and splendor.On this auspicious occasion, Prime Minister Shri Best wishes to the respected saints and all the countrymen.Hail Lord Rama,” Pradhan added. Pradhan had been in isolation after officials from his staff tested positive for the COVID-19. The development comes two days after Union Home Minister Amit Shah tested positive for the Virus.Pradhan is one of the several high-profile names to have tested positive.
