BHUBANESWAR: Young, Energetic and Dynamic Entrepreneur Prabodha Samantara is fast emerging as the most choicest new face in Balikuda – Erasama Assembly seat in Jagatsinghpur. Shri Samantara is all set to enter into electoral fray in the ensuing election. A native of Garam Village in Balikuda Block, Shri Samantara is widely popular as Bunu in this area. Holder of a Kaleidoscopic personality, Shri Samantara has simultaneously been known as an active social activist, honest person, helpful human being, gentleman politician, prolific philanthropist, committed worker and over and above all an adorable youth leader.
Bunu has an illustrious family background. His father late lamented Purna Chandra Samantara was the most successful and sought after A.B.D.O in Balikuda Block. During his service tenure Senior Samantara has earned name and fame for implementing several pro people projects in Balikuda. Known as common man’s officer Purna Chandra Samantara has also had earned reputation of being a people’s friendly Zamindar. A high school, another U.P. school and Goddess Dakshineswari temple were built in village Garam with the patronage of Samantara family.
Banking on his father’s huge popularity and tremendous goodwill, Bunu is now trying his luck in politics. Being a fresh face having clean image shri Samantara has already become a hot favourite among youth, women, professional and poor voters of the locality. Initial analysis of political observers indicate that because of the prevailing favourable scenario it will not be surprising if Bunu becomes the winner in his maiden electoral attempt.
When asked about the issues and grievances in Balikuda – Erasama constituency, Prabodha was very straight forward about the future agenda for the development of his constituents. He mentions that unemployment is the most serious problem in his area. The Constituency does not have a single industry and the farming community are severly suffering due to lack of irrigation facilities, he added.
Away from these, Shri Samantara emphasised that establishment of a Medical is most essential for the people here. As public representative he will give highest priority to tackle all these issues , Bunu declared. Exuding confidence that ruling Biju Janata Dal and its Supremo Odisha’s superbly successful Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will definitely give prime attention to fulfil genuine demands of the people in Balikuda – Erasanma seat, Shri Samantara informed that he has applied for a BJD ticket to contest forthcoming election.
Living in a joint family, Prabodha has Twelve Brothers and three sisters. The entire family has long been nourishing a dream that someone from their family should become a people’s servant. Now Bunu is trying hard on 24×7 basis to serve the people and solve their problems. Pollsters predict that as a BJD candidate Prabodha Samantara shall easily come out successful hands down in the electoral hustings.
