BHUBANESWAR/BARIPADA: On Tuesday, on the allegation of possession of disproportionate assets by Sri Nihar Ranjan Dandpat, Constable, District Police Office, Baripada, Mayurbhanj simultaneous house searches are being conducted by Odisha Vigilance at 7 locations.
9 DSPs, 5 Inspectors, 5 ASIs and other staff conducting search on the strength of search warrants issued by Court of Special Judge, Vigilance, Baripada.
During house searches, evidence of running a Gas Agency namely Hota Enterprises found. During search, 350 nos of filled in LPG Gas cylinders and 543 nos of empty cylinders have been found.
Also, evidence of running a Transportation business found. As many as 19 vehicles including 3 trucks (all Ashok Leyland), 10 trolley Autos, 2 cars (1 Volkswagen and 1 Duster ), 4 bikes have been detected so far.
He was also running a Computer business namely Cyber Outlook at Ambika Temple area in Baripada where stock verification is going on.
