BHUBANESWAR:Union Education Minister Shri Dharmendra Pradhan has said that the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, in his 131st ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program today, has made Odisha proud by praising the unique and innovative farming methods of young farmer Herod Patel of Sundargarh Ratanpur.
Thanking the Prime Minister for this, he said that hard work and new ideas are the keys to real success. Herod, along with his father Shiv Shankar Patel, has created a unique example by combining traditional paddy cultivation with modern technology. He has become self-reliant by cultivating fish in ponds, raising crops on them and growing various types of vegetables. By providing employment to others, he has set an example for the youth. This message of the Prime Minister will definitely inspire the youth who want to take up agriculture as a profession.
Shri Pradhan also said that India’s innovation capacity has captured the attention of the entire world at the recently held ‘AI Impact Summit’. The Prime Minister’s message reflected how AI-based solutions are providing 24-hour support at the Amul booth and how farmers are being empowered in the areas of dairy management and animal health. In addition, the preservation of our ancient texts, knowledge heritage and manuscripts through AI is a testament to India’s cultural and industrial strength.
Finally, Shri Pradhan addressed the students appearing for the exams as ‘Exam Warriors’. He said that it is normal to feel apprehensive and confused during exams, but the measure of success is not only marks. According to the Prime Minister’s message, students should emphasize on patience and a continuous learning attitude. He opined that calmly trusting in their own preparation and accepting the guidance of family and teachers as strength will make them strong in every test of life.
