NEW DELHI: It was possibly for the first time after his joining with BJP, Saffron Party’s Kurukshetra Lok Sabha candidate, and eminent Industrialist, Naveen Jindal met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a social gathering and the response from PM Modi was really inspiring if someone look at a photo shared by the Jindal Steel and Power Chairman, in social media sites.
A sweet smile and noble gesture from Prime Minister Narendra Modi to BJP Lok Sabha candidate, Naveen Jindal, has created an encouraging atmosphere at Rashtrapati Bhawan, sources said.
On the occasion was Padma Award ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhawan on April 23, PM Modi met with BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate Naveen Jindal and shared a sweet smile with him. Naveen Jindal’s uncle Dr Sitaram Jindal was honoured with the Padma Bhushan Award for his outstanding contributions to nature cure and philanthropy.
What transpired between PM Modi and the senior BJP leader Naveen Jindal is yet not known but the Industrialist turned Politician, wrote “राष्ट्रपति भवन में पद्म सम्मान समारोह में माननीय प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेन्द्र मोदी जी का सानिध्य प्राप्त हुआ। हम माननीय प्रधानमंत्री जी के विकसित भारत के संकल्प को साकार करने के लिए कटिबद्ध हैं।,” .
Haryana’s Kurukshetra Lok Sabha had witnessed 74.29 % voters turn out in 2019. Kurukshetra Lok Sabha constituency will go to polls in May this year. The date of voting is 25 May ( Phase 6 ). Main fight is between BJP’s Naveen Jindal and Sushil Kumar Gupta of AAP.
The results for the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in the Kurukshetra constituency will be announced on 4th June. Kurukshetra constituency is one of the 10 Lok Sabha constituencies in Haryana.
Nayab Singh of the BJP won the Kurukshetra constituency in the Lok Sabha elections 2019, securing 688629 votes while 304038 votes were polled in favour of Nirmal Singh of the INC. Nayab Singh won with a massive margin of 3,84,591.
In the Kurukshetra Lok Sabha election of 2014, Raj Kumar Saini of the BJP defeated INLD candidate Balbir Singh Saini by 129736 votes. Raj Kumar Saini clinched 418112 votes while Balbir Singh Saini got 288376 votes.
Since BJP winning the seat since last 2 elections of 2014 and 2019, this time BJP, too hoping for massive win through its candidate , Naveen Jindal , who earlier twice represented the seat.
