NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid his last respect to Party’s stalwart and former Union Minister Debendra Pradhan, who passed away at New Delhi at the age of 84.
PM Modi talked to Dr Debendra Pradhan’s wife and son Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister Giriraj Singh was seen accompanying PM Modi to Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan residence m where Modi paid his last respect.
Several Union Ministers , BJP MPs, Leaders from other parties rushed to Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s residence to pay their respect to the departed soul.
He had served as the Minister of State for Surface Transport and Agriculture in NDA government led by Atal Bihari Vajpayee from 1999 to 2001.
The body is expected to reach Bhubaneswar at around 4 pm today on Monday. His last rites will be performed at Puri Swargadwar on Tuesday.
