NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has expressed deep grief over the passing away of noted stock investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala.
In a tweet, the Prime Minister said;”Rakesh Jhunjhunwala was indomitable. Full of life, witty and insightful, he leaves behind an indelible contribution to the financial world. He was also very passionate about India’s progress. His passing away is saddening. My condolences to his family and admirers. Om Shanti.”
“Shocked and saddened to hear of the demise of Shri #RakeshJhunjhunwala . An ace investor and a simple straightforward man, Shri Jhunjhunwala leaves behind a legacy that will continue to inspire many. My deepest condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. Om Shanti,” JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal said.
“Deeply pained to learn about the sad demise of the Big Bull of the Dalal Street Shri Rakesh Jhunjhunwala Ji. He was often called the Indian Warren Buffett as he had mastered the art of investing. Recently he launched the Akasa air. Heartfelt condolences to his family. Om Shanti,” BJP National VP and IMFA Group Vice Chairman, Baijayant Jay Panda said in a tweet.
