NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: The Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union PNG-Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former 2 times Lok Sabha, MP, Naveen Jindal on Saturday condole the death of veteran Congress leader Buta Singh, who passed away.
In a tweet, PM Modi said”Shri Buta Singh Ji was an experienced administrator and effective voice for the welfare of the poor as well as downtrodden. Saddened by his passing away. My condolences to his family and supporters.”
“Saddened to learn about the demise of veteran Congress leader and former Union Minister Shri Buta Singh ji. A fine adminstrator and a dedicated leader, he served the nation in various capacities. My thoughts and prayers are with his family in this hour of grief. Om Shanti!,” Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted @dpradhanbjp.

Former Union minister and senior Congress leader Singh (86) passes away.He was in a coma since October last year when he was admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after he suffered a brain hemorrhage. The leader’s son, Arvinder Singh Lovely Sidhu took to Facebook to inform about his father’s passing.
