In a tweet, The Prime Minister said:“Congratulations to @himantabiswa Ji and the other Ministers who took oath today. I am confident this team will add momentum to the development journey of Assam and fulfil aspirations of the people.”
BJP National VP In Charge of Assam and Delhi and 4th times former MP from Odisha, Baijayant ‘Jay’Panda also wished Sharma for his new role.“My very best wishes to Dr @himantabiswa Ji on taking oath as CM of Assam, which I attended with @JPNadda Ji, @blsanthosh Ji, @sarbanandsonwal Ji & many CMs & others. Under your able leadership Assam will carry forward PM @narendramodi Ji’s immense focus on NE development,” Baijayant Jay Panda tweeted @PandaJay.
