Please join hands with me to Fight COVID-19 Onslaught, Naveen tells 4.5 Crore Odia people

BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik appealed everyone to donate through http://cmrfodisha.gov.in to strengthen State’s fight against coronavirus and urged 4.3 crore Odia people to joined him to fight the onslaught of COVID-19 outbreak.

The Odisha CM took to Twitter and wrote: Human race is facing one of the gravest challenges due to #COVID19 pandemic. Appeal everyone to come forward to donate through http://cmrfodisha.gov.in  to strengthen #Odisha’s fight against #CoronaVirus. #OdishaFightsCorona.

Meanwhile, as the COVID-19 positive cases of coronavirus in Odisha reached 39, the Chief Minister  Patnaik appealed the populace not to panic.Taking to the Twitter handle, he urged people to follow social distancing norms as the violators will attract stringent actions by the police force.

“People need not panic. It’s in a contained area of #Bhubaneswar with known contact. Sincere appeal – please don’t venture out and respect lockdown. Police will take very tough action on violators.There will be zero tolerance on violation of social distancing. Any violation of social distancing will attract criminal action. The concerned shop / market will be sealed. Earnest request to cooperate in our fight against,” the CMO twitted.
