BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Saturday dedicated another 323 transformed High Schools in districts of the state on the fifth day of the third phase of the 5T High School Transformation programme, where 5T Secretary VK Pandian coordinated the event.
A total of 323 transformed high schools were dedicated which includes 62 high schools in Khurda district, 62 in Bargarh district, 100 in Mayurbhanj district, 23 in Boudh district and 76 in Nabarangpur district. With this, a total of 1816 transformed high schools have been dedicated in five days in the third phase of the programme. Notably, 3,981 schools have been transformed in the state in the last two phases. After the completion of the three phases, there will be a total of 6,132 ‘5T’ Transformed High Schools in the state..
Minister of Science and Technology Ashok Panda from Khurda, Atabira MLA Snehangini Chhuriya from Bargarh, Minister of Women and Child Development Ms. Basanti Hembram from Mayurbhanj, Minister of Information and Public Relations Pradeep Kumar Amat of Boudand District Planning Committee Chairman and Dabugaon MLA Manohar Randhari from Nabarangpur were present in the program.
In this program, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, School and Mass Education Department, Ashwathi S delivered the welcome speech and the Special Project Director of OSEPA gave vote of thanks.
