BHUBANESWAR/CUTTACK: Pankaj-Sanjay Duo…read Pankaj Lochan Mohanty , Sanjay Behera, the President and Secretary of State’s apex cricket body, the Odisha Cricket Association, have been working overtime for the June 12 T20 encounter between India and South Africa and missing no stone unturned.
With Sports loving Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik closely monitoring the event, BJD MLA and Organisational secretary Pranab Prakash Das visited the venue of Barbati Stadium and dicussed the entire arrangements with OCA President Mohanty and Secretary Behera.
MLA Das, one of the close confidant of Chief Minister Patnaik, reviewed the overall arrangements especially to experience the newly installed LED flood lights and Sand based ground in Cuttack with OCA President Mohanty and Secretary, Behera. Das expressed his pleasure over the arrangements made by the OCA for the match.
Earlier, Cuttack RDC, Suresh Chandra Dalai, Collector Bhabani Shankar Chaini and Cuttack Municipal Corporation Chairman, Anil Samal had visited the Barabati Stadium to review the preparations while prior to that, Police Commissioner, S Priyadarshi and Cuttack DCP Pinak Mishra had also conducted mock drill for security preparedness.
Both President Mohanty and Secretary Behera have sought cooperation from all quarters for the smooth conduct of this mega event.
