NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: A tweet of BJP National VP-Spokesperson and 4th times former MP Baijayant ‘Jay’Panda has wrecked havoc in Indian film industry and panic has spread among the wrong doers, sources said on Thursday morning. Union Home Ministry is closely looking into the issue, sources added.
“Came across shocking threads documenting personal & business links of some Bollywood personalities with certain Pakistanis & NRIs with undeniable track record encouraging violence in J&K, who have verifiable links to ISI & Pak army. I urge patriotic Bollywoodies to renounce them.— Baijayant Jay Panda (@PandaJay), tweeted , dated July 22.
The senior ruling BJP leader Panda, made the sensational charge linking some Bollywood personalities to Pakistan and the ISI. The former Member of Parliament from Odisha claimed in a tweet that some Bollywood personalities have business and personal links with ‘certain Pakistanis and NRIs’ who ‘encourage violence in Jammu and Kashmir’.
He further asserted that these elements also have verifiable links to the Pakistani army and Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), the notorious intelligence agency of the hostile neighbour. Panda also urged patriotic Bollywood people to shun such dodgy characters within the industry.
The ISI has been held responsible by various Indian governments for spreading terror in India and carrying out attacks that have killed many Indian citizens. In the 1990s, some Bollywood actors and artistes were suspected of having close links with fugitive don Dawood Ibrahim.
Many photographs and videos, which are also in the public domain, surfaced in which these film personalities were seen hobnobbing with Dawood, the mastermind of Mumbai attacks of 1993 at his private parties in the UAE.
Look who is talking the man @tonyashai (Aka Aziz Ashai) who himself is sitting in the cozy rooms of California and provoking Kashmiri Youth to Pick-up Stones and Guns while his own Son Bilal Ashai recently graduated from Los Angeles @USC with Masters Degree., tweeted, Al iskandar (@TheSkandar) July 21, 2020. This revelation comes on the heels of the problem of ‘nepotism’ that Bollywood celebrities are facing in the wake of Sushant Singh Rajput’s suicide.
