Pandit Deendayal gave a new direction to Indian politics – Dharmendra Pradhan

BHUBANESWAR: The great thinker, the founder of ‘Ekatam Manatabad’ and the founding member of the Jana Sangh, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay gave a new direction to Indian politics, said Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan while paying floral tributes to his statue at Delhi’s Deendayal Upadhyay Park on the occasion of his birth anniversary on Thursday.

On this occasion, at the call of Shri Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Atma Ram joined the students of Sanatan Dharma College in the Swachhta Abhiyan under the ‘Seva Palakh’ and cleaned the campus. He said that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay was a guide and inspiration for lakhs of activists. He gave a new direction to Indian politics through progressive ideas like Ekatma Manavvad and Antyayoday. He believed that the progress of society would be possible only when development and welfare reach the people at the bottom of the society. His contribution to Indian politics and society will be unforgettable. His vision will always inspire the human society to build a strong, prosperous and self-reliant India.

While interacting with the students of Atma Ram Sanatana Dharma College, Shri Pradhan reiterated Prime Minister Modi’s cleanliness drive. He advised the students to devote at least one hour every week to cleanliness. He advised them to make cleanliness an integral part of their lives and to promote indigenous products as per the call of Vocal for Local.
