BHUBANESWAR/SUNDARGARH: It seems, ‘Pandian Fear’ has gripped the Odisha State administration since the flamboyant IAS officer, who is also happens to Secretary to Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his dream project 5T, ventured into field visit.

The Tamil Nadu born and Odisha cadre mandarin V Kartikeyan Pandian has in film style placed Chief District Medical Officer (CDMO) in-charge of Sundargarh Pankaj Patel under suspension for dereliction of duty and served Show Cause Notice  to Sundargarh District Collector Nikhil Pavan Kalyan for lapses in implementing the “Mo Sarkar” (My Government) initiative.

The Chief Minister Patnaik also twitted by saying more stringent action will be taken against those found in wrong side. The “Mo Sarkar” programme, launched by Patnaik on 2 October, is a feedback system, which finds its roots in the Gandhian philosophy of giving people voice in governance.

Pandian, heading the 5T department (technology, transparency, teamwork, transformation and time limit) had recently visited the districts of Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Boudh, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Sundargarh, Mayurbhanj and Keonjhar to review healthcare facilities and infrastructure in state-run hospitals.
