Padmapur District within 1 Year, says Naveen Patnaik

PADMAPUR/JHARBANDH/PAIKAMAL:  Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday made an extensive visit of western district of Bargarh and announced that Padmapur will be made as a separate district within 1 year.

“I had met you in December and then I was really impressed the way people of Bargarh response to my request,” he said. Rs 1.23 Crore assistance provided to SHGs of Bargarh, he said.

CM Patnaik said about the promises made during by-poll and steps already taken on CHC, electricity sub-station and irrigation project. CM asked Union Ministers about Rail line, crop insurance and KL issue

Chief Minister Patnaik addressed several public meetings at Padampur, Paikamal and Jharbandh in the district, which saw large gathering. CM Patnaik inaugurated and dedicated several deployment projects in the district.

Rs 99.10 Crore for 341 projects in Jharbandh block, Rs 37.28 Crore for 668 projects for Paikamal block and Rs 35.49 Crore for 818 projects for Padampur block also inaugurated on this occasion.Rs 1.23 Crore loan for SHGs in Bargarh also distributed.
