BHUBANEWAR: Today i.e. on 24.12.2025, Sri Pabitra Mohan Nayak, Former Divisional Manager, IDCO, Angul (Retired), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(d)/7 PC Act, 1988 for demanding and taking bribe Rs.20,000/- from relative of a lessee for giving favourable report for continuance of lease in respect of shed earlier allotted at Mahisapata Industrial Estate, Dhenkanal in favour of lessee, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Angul and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 2 years and fine.
Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Sri Pabitra Mohan Nayak, Former Divisional Manager, IDCO, Angul (Retired) following his conviction. Detailed report follows.
