BHUBANESWAR: The OSDMA on Thursday directed all fireworks to take adequate preventive and precautionary measures for Fireworks during various programs. OSDMA reacted following an accident in Kendrapara.

Kendrapara Collector Amrit Ruturaj said that strict action will be taken after a probe.As many as 33 injured were admitted at Kendrapara district headquarters hospital (DHH) and later shifted to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Of them, nine have been admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU). The mishap took place on Tuesday evening during immersion procession of idol of Lord Kartikeswar.
