CUTTACK:On 14 January 2026, Central Range Police conducted an intensive one-day road safety enforcement drive under Operation “Jeevan Rakshya” across all districts of the Central Range with the objective of enhancing road discipline and safeguarding lives.
During the drive, a total of 1,454 vehicles were checked across Puri, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Jajpur, Khordha and Nayagarh districts. Special attention was given to transport and heavy vehicles, with 10 heavy vehicles being inspected during the operation.
As a result of strict enforcement against traffic violations, fines amounting to ₹7,82,500 were imposed. No suspicious activities were reported during the operation, reflecting effective preventive policing and smooth conduct of enforcement.
Operation “Jeevan Rakshya” underscores the unwavering commitment of Central Range Police to road safety, disciplined driving, and the protection of precious human lives.
